Holger Czukay played with Can from 1968-77, and also engineered many of their records.

Jaki Liebezeit, the founding (and only) drummer of krautrock pioneers Can, has died at age 78 after a sudden bout with pneumonia.

Thurston Moore will be in a band featuring former and current members of Can at a special concert next year.
