While most would jump at the opportunity to receive the freedom of the city, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has turned it down.

The BBC pulled out all the stops when they brought together some of today's brightest artists and musical veterans to cover the 1966 Beach Boys classic, 'God Only Knows.'

Coldplay headlined Radio One's One Big Weekend festival the night before, and Martin stuck around long enough to make one more appearance.
