As part of their Live from the Lot series, Google Music will stream a performance by the Shins from SXSW on YouTube Presents. The concert by the Portland-based band, held atop a parking garage in the so-called Live Music Capital of the World, will begin at 7:40 ET/6:40 CT.

Jack White had a birthday party for his Third Man Records imprint yesterday (March 8), celebrating the third year of its Nashville location with a special solo show. White's set consisted of his own material and songs from the his trio of other current/former projects: the White Stripes, the Dead Weather and the Raconteurs.
