Jimmy Eat World are celebrating a big anniversary in 2014: the 10-year birthday of 'Futures,' their first Top 10 release.

Jimmy Eat World celebrated the release of their seventh studio album, ‘Damage,’ by hitting the stage of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last night (June 11) to perform two new tunes: ‘I Will Steal You Back’ (above) and ‘Damage’ (below). Although frontman Jim Adkins switched from electric to acoustic guitar on the title track, the band projected palpable energy during both performances.

Last time out, on 2010’s ‘Invented,’ the early-to-mid-30s members of Jimmy Eat World wrote and sang heartbreak songs that didn’t sound all that different than the heartbreak songs they wrote and sang a decade earlier, when they were a lot closer to their awkward teen years.
