Passion Pit have two new songs as frontman Michael Angelakos starts a project to help musicians.

Passion Pit will head out on the road later this year for a short run of October tour dates.

"I kind of just need to talk to people about the fact that I am. I'm gay," Angelakos said. "And that's it. It just has to happen."

The synth-pop outfit will be in support of their latest, 'Kindred.'

Last year, reports surfaced that Soundcloud was in talks with Sony, Universal and Warner to complete licensing deals.

Fans who will be attending Passion Pit's gig in London this week could get the chance to go to a very special listening party after the show.

After revealing "Lifted Up (1985)" as the lead single for their third album, Kindred, Passion Pit has finally released the visual for the track.
