Tele Novella Get Into Halloween Spirit In ‘Don’t Be a Stranger’ Video

With Halloween fast approaching, it’s time to put the finishing touches on the perfect costume for the holiday. Perhaps you’ll find some inspiration in Tele Novella’s brand-new video for ‘Don’t Be a Stranger,’ wherein three of four of the group’s members are seen dressed as a vampire, a werewolf and a witch, gallivanting around their hometown of Austin.

The trio seems pleased as punch to share their — perhaps premature — Halloween enthusiasm with their fellow Texans as they rock out in a laundromat and run through a children’s fountain, all in their Halloween finest. Those around them seem a little skeptical though. Each time, Tele Novella’s Natalie Ribbons, Jason Chronis and Matt Simon (formerly of Voxtrot and Agent Ribbons) receive some major side-eye from surrounding children, who slowly back away from the bunch.

The fuzzy clip pairs well with the foursome’s equally fuzzy psych-pop tune, which arrives on 7-inch vinyl at the beginning of November before Tele Novella puts out their debut LP, which is slated for a 2014 release. In the meantime, catch the group on tour around Texas.
