Hey Hold Steady fans, listen up! After a year away, the group is finally making their way back to the concert stage for an extended touring run.

The band has been enjoying one of the longest breaks of their tenure, as the group got most of 2011 off while singer Craig Finn pursued his first solo record, 'Clear Heart Full Eyes,' last summer and fall. But quietly, the group resumed work back in January.

While there are no details yet on when we can expect a new album, the fact that they have booked a number of summer shows is a positive sign. The group did play a handful of dates earlier this spring and debuted the track 'Wait a While' and another untitled song during the shows.

The trek begins on June 14 in Sioux Falls, S.D. and continues through their XPoNential Music Festival performance in Camden, N.J. on July 20. A couple of members of the band do have one very special performance coming up, as Craig Finn and Tad Kubler will be taking part in 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,' a celebration of the life of late the Band drummer and singer Levon Helm. It takes place on June 4 at New York's Brooklyn Bowl with Guster's Ryan Miller, members of the Felice Brothers, Phosphorescent, Nicole Atkins and more.
