The National want to send your children to sleep, but in a good way. The Ohio indie rockers will narrate and score the music for the bedtime story app 'Dragon Brush.'

According to Pitchfork, 'Dragon Brush' tells the tale of "Bing-Wen, a young boy who loves to paint. When given a magical brush that makes drawings come to life, Bing-Wen must use his art and wits to outsmart the greedy Emperor."

The National's Aaron and Bryce Dessner will handle the music for the interactive story. The illustrations are brought to life by John Solomine of Spike Press, a long-time contributor of concert posters for the band.

"The story has all my favorite things," says frontman and 'Dragon Brush' narrator Matt Berninger in a press release. "Waterfalls, magical dragons, and the sound of my own voice."

Readers will be able to create their own drawings using the Dragon Paint feature. 'Dragon Brush' is available now on Apple's app store for the iPhone and iPad. Find out more information on the project here.

In other news, the National recently announced additional artists to join the lineup for the All Parties Tomorrow festival that they are curating. Local Natives, Deerhoof, Kurt Vile and more will visit Butlin’s in Minehead, Somerset, England December 7-9.
