The Promise Ring's two reunion concerts earlier this year have led to the band booking 10 more dates this summer, in addition to scheduling the release of a rarities collection.

The influential emo-core outfit was already booked to play the Bamboozle Festival in Asbury Park, N.J., on May 19, and now the details of the remaining shows have been fleshed out. Those include a date at Irving Plaza in New York City on May 20 and an appearance at Summer Fest in the group's hometown of Milwaukee on June 28. The trek winds down Sept. 1 at the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, Calif.

This won't be a traditional tour, as there are huge gaps between dates and most of the shows are on weekends. But fans who have waited years for the outfit to reunite will no doubt be thrilled by the news. The group disbanded in 2002 and reunited temporarily in 2005.

The Promise Ring will issue the as-yet-untitled rarities collection, which will feature a handful of unreleased tracks and other odds and ends, sometime this fall on Dangerbird Records. The band's last proper album was 2002's 'Wood/Water.'
