When Tool Dressed Up as Led Zeppelin for Halloween
On Halloween 2015, shortly after Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan dropped Money Shot with his other outfit, Puscifer, he played his first and only show of the year with his main gig. Together, Tool celebrated the occasion and the holiday by dressing up as Led Zeppelin.
Keenan and company pulled out the costumes for their appearance at this year’s Monster Mash Festival in Tempe, Ariz.. “Good news, it’s f---ing Halloween,” Keenan announced to the crowd. “Bad news, we are not Led Zeppelin.”
Accordingly, Tool treated festivalgoers to their cover of Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter,” which marked their first time playing the song in nearly 20 years. See their performance in the fan-shot clip at the top of the page. Keenan also shared a photo of his impressively spot-on Robert Plant on Instagram.
