Ahead of tonight's The Joshua Tree 2017 tour-opener in Vancouver, B.C., fans have posted footage of U2's final rehearsals, which you can listen to above and below.

The clips show the band at BC Place Stadium, and include them performing "Where the Streets Have No Name," "New Year's Day" and "A Sort of Homecoming."

According to NME, for the past week, many local residents have reported hearing U2's rehearsals blocks away from the stadium and the Vancouver Sun notes that at least one fan live-streamed hours of rehearsals on Periscope. Others have posted that they've run into band members around town.

U2 last played Vancouver in 2015, when they opened their Innocence + Experience tour there. This new stretch will include a performance of all 11 songs from their 1987 landmark album The Joshua Tree, as well as other songs from their catalog.

The band said in January that they stopped working on their upcoming album Songs of Experience in part to focus on the 30th anniversary tour of The Joshua Tree, but also to step back and get some perspective on how there were parallels between the world now and when they first wrote their blockbuster.

As the Edge said shortly after the tour was announced, they “were pretty much complete with [Songs of Experience] after a couple of weeks of the final touches leading up to the end of the year. And then the election [happened] and suddenly the world changed. We just went, ‘Hold on a second – we’ve got to give ourselves a moment to think about this record and about how it relates to what’s going on in the world.’ That’s because it was written mostly, I mean, 80 percent of it was started before 2016, but most of it was written in the early part of 2016, and now, as I think you’d agree, the world is a different place.”
