Ugly Band Breakups: Blur
"You ain't coming back," Damon Albarn spat on 'Battery in Your Leg,' the only Blur song, according to Albarn, that was written about the band -- and, appropriately enough, the last one to feature Graham Coxon's dynamic guitar work. The writing was on the wall for Coxon in 2002 when, after several tense weeks spent trying to lay down tracks for Blur's 'Think Tank' album, he was asked to leave due to "attitude" issues -- only to rejoin his mates in 2009 for a series of high profile reunion gigs.
