Oasis officially called it a day in 2009 following a nasty backstage tiff that caused guitarist Noel Gallagher to storm out on singer Liam just minutes before they were to hit the stage of the Rock en Seine festival near Paris -- but a split of the brothers Gallagher had seemed pretty much destined ever since they first burst onto the scene in the early '90s. The brash and bratty rival brothers were at each other's throats for nearly two decades before finally ending up in rival camps: Noel started a solo project called the High Flying Birds, while Liam and the rest of Oasis formed as Beady Eye.
