It's now common knowledge that Guns N' Roses are reuniting this year and about every source that matters has confirmed the band will be headlining this year's Coachella – every source except the band, of course.

However, previously estranged frontman Axl Rose took to Twitter today to point out that fact and take a legitimately funny jab at himself (and, likely, his well-publicized weight gain).

But the truth (whatever it may be) will come out next week when Rose is scheduled to make an appearance on his talk show of record: Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Rumors of the classic lineup's reunion were first sparked in May when guitarist Slash told CBS This Morning that the "tension has dissipated" between Rose and him. "We don't have all those issues anymore," he said. "There's not a lot of controversy. It's something that's more perpetuated by the media than anything."

But the band officially began pouring fuel on the fire recently when the GNR Twitter account began posting cryptic hints, the band's official website was updated with the classic logo and a mysterious teaser played before Star Wars: The Force Awakens that featured "Welcome to the Jungle" and a screen that says "Coming Soon."
