Fresh off a pair of well-received performances at New York's Radio City Music Hall, Pulp rolled into Coachella 2012 and onto the stage Friday night nearly a year into their reunion after nine years apart. In other words, Pulp have no cobwebs to shake out of their show, and it showed during the course of the hour-plus set -- they were appropriately tight as a band and comfortably loose as performers, making for some engaging rock 'n' roll.

Leading his mates through opener with 'Do You Remember the First Time' -- a good choice, considering how many in the audience had likely never seen Pulp before -- frontman Jarvis Cocker was dancing around the stage from the very first note and looking like the original GQ-librarian-shaggy-hipster rock star that he is. The main knows how to wear a suit and write a song, and he displayed both skills in abundance during the show -- all-the-while jumping and flopping around the stage like a man possessed. It's not to be missed -- especially because nobody really knows how many more times it can be.
