Brenner Eugenides died March 7 as a result of complications from diabetes. He was 26. Besides spending much of 2010 on the road as the sound man for Hot Hot Heat,  Eugenides also played guitar in grungy Brooklyn rockers Broken Glow, who released the 'Watercolors' EP in 2011.

That band found themselves under unexpected scrutiny last year, after their former apartment was one of the residences raided by the FBI in their pursuit of the hacking network Anonymous. However, their name was later cleared, Broken Glow explained in a detailed blog post.
