Best Coast Announce 2013 Tour Dates, Record Store Day Single

Wondering what happened to that arena tour Best Coast were going to play with Green Day? The postponement that was announced when Billie Joe Armstrong went into rehab last fall cast a shadow of doubt over the likelihood of the two bands hitting the road together, but Best Coast have announced that they will indeed support Green Day's upcoming rescheduled North American arena tour, which kicks off March 28 in Chicago.

Following that trek, which winds down April 18 in Los Angeles, BC will embark on a headlining jaunt of their own that launches with a Record Store Day in-store performance on April 20 at Fingerprints in Long Beach, Calif. Also in honor of RSD, Best Coast will release a limited edition 7-inch split single for the tune 'Fear of My Identity,' with a B-side from Clarks Originals.
