Everyone's favorite Arizona desert rockers, Caleixco, are back in action -- and they've just shared a brand new video from their forthcoming album.

The band is about to release its first album in three years, Edge of the Sun, next month and to get fans ready, a video for the song "Falling From the Sky" has just been unveiled -- you can check it out below. The video was directed by band compadre Aaron Schock, and was filmed live at Wavelab Studios in Tucson, Az., where the new album was recorded.

“'Falling From the Sky' was written when landing in New Zealand," singer/guitarist Joey Burns says on the band's website. "The song could be about not knowing where life is heading sometimes – there is nostalgia and an attempt to convey the importance of mystery and magic in our lives. Our instincts tell us to take giant leaps, whilst our minds remind us to be more cautious. When we find ourselves truly alone or facing our biggest challenges, it is then that we are most in tune with our true selves and the world around us, or in this case amongst the universe and stars above.” Burns adds that the song was also inspired by the children’s book The House in the Night.

Throughout the album, Burns and drummer/percussionist John Convertino are joined by Jacob Valenzuela (trumpet, vibes, keyboard), Martin Wenk (trumpet, accordion, guitar, synth, vibes, backing vocals), Ryan Alfred (double bass, electric bass), Sergio Mendoza (piano, farfisa) and Jairo Zavala (bazouki, baritone guitar, vocals). In addition, several guests make an appearance on the new new disc including Sam Beam from Iron and Wine, Neko Case, and Band of Horses' Ben Bridwell.

Edge of the Sun is set for release on April 14 on Anti-. Calexico will also be hitting the road for a round of shows in May and June.
