Calvin Klein has released a new cologne for men called Dark Obsession, and the ad for the fragrance features 21-year-old male model Matthew Terry, as well as the tune ‘In the City’ by Portland-based synth-pop group Chromatics.

‘In the City’ is the title track from their 2010 EP, which includes an instrumental version of the song, along with ‘Dark Day, ‘I’m on Fire,’ Tears of Pain,’ ‘Lady’ and ‘Dagger Moon.’ Prior to that, the tune appeared on Italians Do It Better’s 2007 compilation disc, ‘After Dark.’

Their 2012 LP ‘Kill for Love’ was named one of the year’s best by Diffuser.fm, and Pitchfork wrote that “it’s not just a collection of hits; it's an album, one that gives the project's familiar nocturnal foreboding a new sense of grandeur.”

You may have seen them at a number of music festivals across the globe, including the Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris and Barcelona’s Primavera Sound. They’ve also toured with the likes of Hot Chip, Glass Candy and Desire, the latter two groups featuring Chromatics frontman Johnny Jewel. Check out the band’s official Facebook for all the latest details.
