Coachella 2013's first weekend finished Sunday (April 14) with a virtual sandstorm. As high winds and chilly weather overtook Indio, Calif., it seemed for a time the festival might not conclude as scheduled, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers braved the gusts and gave the most intense audience of the entire weekend something to remember, as they energetically delivered hit after hit in the closest thing to a greatest-hits set we saw all weekend. Modest Mouse debuted a brand new track called 'Be Brave' during their Coachella performance on Friday, April 12. The track isn't like their breakthrough hit 'Float On,' so if you're one of those Modest Mouse fans, you'll be disappointed. If you're old school, you'll be pleased.

The big question mark on Saturday at Coachella 2013 was whether Daft Punk would make an appearance. Well, they didn't. However, fellow French group Phoenix did get an unexpected visitor in the form of R. Kelly, so fans craving a dramatic moment at least left feeling somewhat pleased. The Postal Service's 10th-anniversary reunion has had a mighty busy week. On Tuesday, the group's only album, 2003's 'Give Up,' was reissued with an extra disc filled with rarities like B sides, outtakes and remixes. Last night, the band played Coachella.
