After the success of their work on 'Tron: Legacy,' Daft Punk member Thomas Bangalter has composed the score on another movie. Entitled 'First Point,' the short film stars none other than troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.

As Pitchfork points out, 'First Point' comes from the mind of artist Richard Phillips and features the work of surf filmmaker Taylor Steele. Lohan stars as a blonde board rider, and surfer Kassia Meador acts as her stunt double. The film will premiere this week at Art Basel in Switzerland.

This will be the fourth film that features musical contributions from the Daft Punk camp. They started their foray into the movie world with 2003's animated title 'Interstella 5555,' which was based off their 'Discovery' album. They followed up 'Interstella 5555' with 2007's 'Daft Punk's Electroma,' which was about two robots' quest to become human. Their biggest project to date was composing music for the 2010 Disney sequel 'Tron: Legacy.'

Daft Punk are currently working on a new album, which would be their first since 2005's 'Human After All.' They are collaborating with Chic frontman Nile Rogers and songwriter Paul Williams on the record. While there were reports that the disc would come out this month, that was proven false back in March. No release date or title have been revealed as of yet.
