San Francisco's Evil Eyes wear their whole heart on their sleeve with the single 'Half a Heart,' a song about ending things for good.

That's "ending things for good" as in severing romantic ties, not committing suicide, though the song's sadness is pure enough that one might wonder if singer Joe Frabotta is breaking up with a love or his own life.

"It's a song about a broken relationship," he tells Diffuser.fm. "You can only go on for so long when your hearts aren't on the same level. Love is all or nothing."

The quintet is heavily influenced by the Brian Jonestown Massacre's more psychedelic material, and here, they up the tempo and add just enough extra pop to draw in listeners alienated by BJM's odd wandering and genre-hopping. Listen to 'Half A Heart' below.
