Flaming Lips Play ‘Letterman,’ Do ‘The Terror’ With Typical Weirdness

http://youtu.be/ng-9vMA1moY

The Flaming Lips hit the stage of ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’ last night (April 3) to perform the title track from their upcoming album, ‘The Terror.’ Frontman Wayne Coyne was in his quirky, theatrical element, decked out in strands of rope lights and caressing a plastic baby doll.

‘The Terror,’ which was originally scheduled for an April 2 release, is now set to drop on April 16 via Warner Bros. The Lips are also issuing a limited edition vinyl set, which includes an instant download of the non-album track ‘Sun Blows Up Today.’ Click here for more details.
