In the summer of 2011, Kat Quinn moved to New York City and teamed up with producer Peter Calo to record her debut EP, ExhaleIt didn't take long for Adam Rhodes (who has collaborated with the likes of Bon Iver) to take notice and throw his hat in the ring to produce her follow-up, Kind of Bravewhich hit the streets in December 2013. Less than two years later, Quinn is back with Rhodes working on a new EP, Rust to Gold, set for release later this summer.

Today (June 2), Diffuser is thrilled to partner with Quinn to premiere the official music video for her latest single from Rust to Gold, "Going Home" -- check it out above.

"I wrote 'Going Home' when I was living somewhere that couldn't have felt less like home," Quinn admits. "That really hit me after going back to my wonderful home for the holidays that year. This video represents how I felt during that time -- all the things I missed, and the journey we're always on."

Quinn's gorgeous vocals and the delicate accompanying visuals make for a hopeful, long-lasting impact; her sentiments toward the song are deeply personal, and quite relatable: "I think it's nice to think that no matter where we're going, we're all really just going home. Even if it takes us a while to get there."

Quinn has a handful of gigs scheduled in the New York area, including a stop at Rockwood Music Hall on June 8. You can find her full tour itinerary -- and stay current with everything happening in her world -- at her official website.
