Kathleen Hanna will appear in the upcoming movie, Maggie’s Plan, and the former Bikini Kill frontwoman contributed a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” to the soundtrack.

Hanna’s stripped-down take on the song from Springsteen’s 1984 classic, Born in the U.S.A., features guest vocals by actor Tommy Buck who appears in the film alongside Greta Gerwig, Ethan Hawke and Julianne Moore. Listen to it below.

In the comedy, Gerwig’s character has her plans to have a baby derailed when she falls in love with a married man (Hawke) that destroys his marriage with a brilliant woman (Moore). According to IMDB, Hanna plays a “Québécois Female Singer.”
