Lollapalooza 2012 Lineup

After much speculation and rumor, the official Lollapalooza 2012 lineup has been unveiled -- and it's pretty killer. The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, the Black Keys and reunited metal legends Black Sabbath are slated to headline this year's festival, which is slated for Aug. 3-5 in Chicago's Grant Park.

The rock-centric lineup will also feature the Shins, Franz Ferdinand, Metric and recently reunited acts the Afghan Whigs and At The Drive-In, who on Monday night played their first show in 11 years. Other acts include Florence + The Machine, Passion Pit, M83, and many, many more -- check out the complete lineup below.

One glaring omission from the bill is Garbage, who have been heavily rumored to be playing the festival this year. Of course this isn't necessarily the final and complete lineup -- more bands could be added at a later date.
