Lush will release their first new music since 1996 this Friday (April 15), and yesterday, they celebrated with their first show since taking that 20-year hiatus.

Lush’s original lineup consisting of Emma Anderson, Miki Berenyi and Phil King played the Oslo in London on Monday night. Elastica’s Justin Welch is sitting in on drums with the reunited shoegaze outfit in place of Chris Acland, who died in 1996. Together, they treated concertgoers to a career-spanning set that included catalog highlights “De-Luxe,” “For Love,” “Hypocrite” and “Ladykillers.” See fan-shot footage of those four songs, along with the entire set list (via NME), at the bottom of the page. Lush also performed their brand-new cut, “Out of Control,” which will appear on their Blind Spot EP when it lands on Friday via 4AD.

The band's reunion jaunt takes them to the states on Thursday when they’ll play a show at the Roxy in L.A. Then, they will play Coachella on April 16 and 23, plus shows in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, New York, Boston, Chicago, D.C. and Philadelphia. Find their entire itinerary right here.
