M83 Play ‘Kimmel,’ Perform ‘Oblivion’

M83 took the stage of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ last night to perform ‘Oblivion,’ a track from their soundtrack for the science fiction thriller of the same name, starring Tom Cruise. Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør and a full orchestra joined the French electronic group for the performance. Sundfør’s stellar vocals backed, by violins and M83’s signature dreamy sounds, created a larger-than-life effect that may entice viewers to pick up the soundtrack and buy tickets for the post-apocalyptic film.

The movie opens in theaters tomorrow (April 19), and in the meantime, it's streaming here on Diffuser.fm. It’s also available for purchase via Back Lot Records.
