2014 marked the 10th anniversary of the world-renowned rock and roll festival, Mountain Jam, featuring the likes of Jeff Tweedy, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Blitzen Trapper, Lucius and the Avett Brothers (just to name a few!). Today (Dec. 12), Diffuser is thrilled to help announce the 2015 edition of this kick-ass fest, slated for June 4-7, 2015 at Hunter Mountain, N.Y.

On Saturday June 6, we absolutely can’t wait to see the Black Keys headline Mountain Jam! Founder Gary Chetkof says, “Mountain Jam is known for presenting the most innovative and musically diverse artists in the business and with the Black Keys joining us this year, we’re excepting to cement our standing as the premiere camping music festival in the Northeast.”

The Black Keys are still riding the wave of their 2014 release, ‘Turn Blue,’ a record that we’re thinking might find its way onto Diffuser’s Top 10 Albums of the Year (coming soon). They’re still on the road promoting the LP, wrapping up the ‘Turn Blue’ world tour on Dec. 21 in Kansas City.

And if that wasn’t exciting enough, we’re going to help welcome Gov’t Mule to the Mountain Jam stage, which if you’ve ever been to the fest, you know they are a festival staple. 2015 will mark their 11th gig at the festival, making them the only band to appear every single freaking year. They’re scheduled to play two sets, including a very exciting and special late-night performance called ‘Dark Side of the Mule,’ bringing their Pink Floyd audio and visual tribute to Hunter Mountain (this tribute hasn’t been performed since 2008 and is expected to only be performed at Mountain Jam next year).

We’re not done: Moe. are making their Mountain Jam debut, rocking out on the opening night, Thursday June 4.

As exciting as the Black Keys, Gov’t Mule and .Moe are, we still have two more headliners and around 40 more acts to announce -- so stay tuned for even more exciting news!

Mountain Jam was originally conceived in 2005 as a single-day celebration of Radio Woodstock’s 25th anniversary, and it has exploded into a massive, four-day, multi-stage, camping event.

Trust us, you are going to want to get your hands on tickets -- and why hesitate? Early bird tickets are on-sale right now! You can get details on the various pass options and score your tickets right here.

(Keep in mind, pre-sale tickets already sold-out for 2015, so don’t wait around to get these early bird passes -- plus, they’re discounted up to 25% off day-of-show prices!)
