After releasing their new song, "Young Girls," last month, Pins are back with the accompanying visual for the catchy single.

Directed by Amy Watson, the video (above) follows the band -- composed of Faith Holgate, Lois McDonald, Anna Donigan and Sophie Galpin -- and the members' friendships as they hang around Manchester, England. While they look like four best friends that are just hanging out and minding their own business, there is something darker that seemingly keeps these four together. As we watch them drive to "The Edge" in Alderly Edge in the northern English city, they get rid of a bat that's covered in blood and burn some clothing.

“I wanted to play around with the usual ‘girls just wanna have fun’ type of music video. You know -- friendship, solidarity, road trips and all the usual tropes of girly bonding. I wanted to take that wholesomeness and push it to a weird place,” Watson told Noisey.

Even though there is some secret that these four "Young Girls" are holding deep inside, the video is still about best friends having a laugh and just enjoying their youth: "The video is the tale of four girls, thick as thieves. They are dreamers, they are bold and they are bonded by a secret. All for one and one for all.”

"Young Girls" is the band's lead single off their upcoming album, Wild Nights, which is set for release on June 9 via Bella Union. They're also heading out on tour to support the record and kick things off at Brooklyn's Rough Trade on June 13. You can find our their full tour schedule here.
