At Diffuser.fm Radio, our crazy-good online station, we're fixated on new music. Each week, we spike the playlist with potent new jams, and this week, we've got a six-pack of mood-altering songs, all of which come from North America.
Now, it's rare that we avoid adding any tracks from the United Kingdom, as we're hardcore Anglophiles, but it's hard to argue with this week's selections. For synth fans, we've got Davey and Jade from AFI getting down Depeche Mode style on 'Faith Healer,' the latest from their Blacqk Audio project, as well as Passion Pit's peppy 'Carried Away' and Ra Ra Riot's rousing 'Beta Love.' Not into electronics? No worries -- Dinosaur Jr. make with the monster riffs on 'Pierce the Morning Rain,' while the Casket Lottery unfurl some tense Midwestern post-hardcore on 'The Moon and the Tide.'
Last but not least, Stars rep for Canada with 'Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When you Give It,' a big ol' stadium rocker of the U2 variety.
