Founded back in 1968, the Quebec City Summer Festival returns for its 46th annual run on July 4-14. The lineup features a wide variety of top-name acts, among them the Black Keys, Passion Pit, MGMT, Def Leppard, Foreigner, Weezer and the Wu-Tang Clan.
Passion Pit experienced a glitch in their touring plans last year after releasing 'Gossamer,' since frontman Michael Angelakos suffers from bipolar disorder and needed to table his commitments in order to address his personal issues. With all of that in the rearview, the Pit are getting back on the road this spring and summer.
Passion Pit’s brand-new video for ‘Cry Like a Ghost’ complements the song’s tempo and lyrics with some thoughtful choreography. The clip follow a girl’s emotional romantic history and opens with her in the woods, dancing alone. From there, it quickly and gracefully moves from one memory to the next, as she moves from the arms of one man to another. The dance is a physical narration of the girl’s past relationships: One moment of holding hands over coffee turns into a hand that slaps the cigarette out of another man’s mouth. In the end, the dance brings her back to the woods, alone, but this time in reverse.
The 2013 Kanrocksas Music Festival was announced earlier this year, and now the full lineup has been revealed.
