Remy Zero – Superhero Songs

‘Save Me’

The Remy Zero song ‘Save Me’ definitely has an adolescent Clark Kent kinda vibe, so we’re not surprised that it was chosen to be featured on the Superman-inspired series ‘Smallville.’ What was not surprising either was that the song and the band took off after the show’s 2001 premiere.

‘Save Me’ is featured on the band’s third studio album, ‘The Golden Hum.’ The song did fairly well, reaching the No. 27 spot on the Modern Rock Charts in 2001. Remy Zero retired their music a few years ago, but this song will forever be connected to the Metropolis superhero.
