Listen to Sarah McQuaid’s New Single, ‘The Silver Lining’

Folk singer-songwriter Sarah McQuaid’s fourth album, ‘Walking Into White,’ is already out in the U.K., but it won’t arrive in the U.S. ‘til August. To tide fans over, the English songstress will release a three-song single featuring her most recent LP’s ‘The Silver Lining.’ Take a listen below:

‘The Silver Lining’ will be paired with McQuaid’s cover of Ewan MacColl’s ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’ and her own instrumental track, ‘I Am Grateful for What I Have.’

“I love the way the new recording flows as a whole, and I’m hoping to perform the entire album, track by track, as the first half of each gig during the coming season,” McQuaid said in a press release. “Some of the tracks are going to require a bit of technological trickery in order to work live, so it’s going to be a real challenge to carry off.”
