Christopher Owens, former frontman of Girls, has announced plans to embark on a solo North American tour of theaters and clubs that will kick off Jan. 14 in Chicago and run through a Jan. 27 gig in Washington, D.C. The trek is in support of his debut solo album, 'Lysandre,' which drops Jan. 15.

Titled 'Lysandre,' the disc is due out Jan. 15, 2013, and Owens says it's "a coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story" about Girls' first tour, which took place back in the summer of '08.
