The Bright Light Social Hour have unveiled a new set of tour dates in support of their latest album, Space Is Still the Place, which arrived earlier this year on Frenckiss Records.

First up, the band will open for Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros in Kansas City, Mo., on July 29. Then, they will make a handful of festival appearances, including Float Fest in Sans Marcos, Texas; Telluride Blues and Brews Festival in Colorado; and Phases of the Moon Festival in Ozark, Arkansas.

The headlining portion of Bright Light Social Hour’s North American tour will launch on Oct. 21 in Tallahassee, Fla. Firekid will serve as their opening act between then and Oct. 25. Then, SWIMM will assume those duties starting on Oct. 27 in D.C. The tour will wrap up on Nov. 20 in Norman, Okla. Check out a complete list of stops at the bottom of the page. Tickets go on sale this Friday (July 24) at 10AM; get more information on the band’s website.

The Bright Light Social Hour’s Space Is Still the Place arrived back in March, following their 2010 self-titled debut. You can grab a copy now on iTunes.
