Here at, we're obsessed with new music, and as such, we're pleased to unveil our Top 50 Songs of September 2012 list. Our picks are based on the most-played tunes on Radio, the online station we launched last week, and this month's inventory includes everything from the rootsy garage-soul stylings of Alabama Shakes to the epic synth-pop of M83.

Also making the list are Imagine Dragons, who were nice enough to do some guest blogging for us earlier this month, and David Byrne & St. Vincent, who fared quite well in their official album review.

As opposed to ranking the tracks by popularity or artistic merit, since that would only promote unhealthy competition, we've presented the Top 50 songs of September 2012 in alphabetical order, so that you can scroll through and see if your favorites made the cut.

Think we're missing someone? Drop us a line and tell us who you'd like to hear on the station.
