After three years, Alison Sudol -- a.k.a. A Fine Frenzy -- is getting ready to release a new album. How will it fit in with her first two releases, 'One Cell in the Sea' and 'Bomb in a Birdcage'? Here's what we've heard so far.

Although we don't have a title or a release date yet, Sudol has been pretty good about making the rounds promoting her new material, beginning with her January appearance at Sundance, where she sat for some interview questions and gave the audience a taste of what they can expect from the next album.

"This third record, it welled up from somewhere deep. I really feel like I found what I was trying to say and who I am," Sudol said during her interview with Young Hollywood, and although she joked about possibly cutting a rock record someday, she was in a reflective mood when she debuted her new song 'Avalanches' at her ASCAP showcase performance.

Sudol also talked with Elle about the new album, describing one track, 'Riverside,' by saying that "There is a lot of space in it, and though the melody is simple and almost childlike, there is a tremendous amount of sadness and longing underneath. I think this outfit is like that—in that what is not seen (or heard) can often be more powerful than what is shown."

Most recently, Sudol visited the Spotify offices to play some new music for the streaming service. As they posted on their Facebook wall: "A Fine Frenzy's Alison Sudol recently stopped by Spotify's NYC offices to give us a sneak peek of her upcoming album. Can't wait to hear it all!"

Spotify isn't the only place where the new album is being heard -- the Lost & Found Radio show recently tweeted that they'd heard the track 'Now Is the Start,' which is rumored to be the first single. Clearly, the album is coming soon -- what are you hoping to hear from it?
