Last night (Nov. 22), PBS’ iconic music show, ‘Austin City Limits,’ took a departure from their regular one-artist concert series and presented multiple musicians playing at this year’s Americana Music Festival. Watch the entire episode above.

With music director Buddy Miller and host Jim Lauderdale at the helm of the episode, ‘ACL Presents: Americana Music Festival 2014’ is packed with some of the greatest musical acts around today. As Lauderdale describes Americana, it’s “one of America’s most authentic and diverse musical genres” -- and this episode of ‘ACL’ extolled its varied history.

From the legendary sounds of Loretta Lynn to the 21st century alternative country of Jason Isbell -- and with some crushing soul from St. Paul and the Broken Bones thrown in for good measure -- the Americana Music Festival took place on Sept. 17 at Nashville’s beautiful and historic Ryman Auditorium. Check out the full setlist below.

The festival is put on each year by the Americana Music Association. For more information on the AMA, visit their website here.
