The Airborne Toxic Event are gearing up for album number three and have announced a tentative spring 2013 release for 'Such Hot Blood,' the follow-up to their Billboard Top 20-charting 2011 disc, 'All At Once.' ATE will officially release 'Timeless,' the first single off 'Such Hot Blood,' on Jan. 28, but in the meantime, you can listen to the tune below (and check out the artwork to the left).

'Timeless' finds Airborne Toxic Event sticking to the sound that put them on the map with hits such as 2008's 'Sometime Around Midnight.' On the new tune, blissed-out guitars and steady, scattered drumming form a solid foundation for Mikel Jollett's dramatic, anthemic, soaring vocals, which he penned after an "awful and horrific" year, during which he lost four family members. "The song is kind of a lament of that, just how overwhelming these things can be," he recently told Billboard.

'Timeless' is premiering as a single, but this isn't the first time it has been heard outside ATE's recording studio. The band performed the tune during a special concert with the Colorado Symphony at Red Rocks last summer, and it was later featured on the hit ABC show 'Once Upon a Time.'
