Cover songs -- they're what's cool right now. It seems to be a safe bet that dropping $90 on a concert ticket means you'll get a grab bag of some Top 40 hits mixed in with the band's originals.

Case in point -- Arcade Fire. They've covered almost every song ever written. All right, that's an exaggeration. But they have shown fans everywhere that they know how to play songs by Prince, R.E.M., Boyz II Men, Creedence Clearwater Revival and INXS.

Now we can add Jane's Addiction and Guns N' Roses to the list. A fan at a show Friday night shot some surprisingly decent footage of the band playing a mashup of 'Been Caught Stealing' and 'Welcome to the Jungle.' Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler donned his bobble-head and collected front-row fans' cell phones as he tried to sing through paper mache, or whatever his head is made of.

Arcade Fire played a full verse of 'Been Caught Stealing' before switching over to the instantly recognizable opening riffs of 'Welcome to the Jungle.' They only played a few seconds of the GNR classic before launching into a song they wrote themselves, 'Here Comes the Nighttime.'

And not to worry, Butler returned all of the phones he took. We're hoping the covers trend keeps going -- it gives us bored music bloggers something to do.
