Band of Horses Map Out ‘Mirage Rock’ Tour Dates

Band of Horses are taking the show on the road. The South Carolina-based rockers have mapped out a brief headlining fall North American tour in support of their forthcoming 'Mirage Rock' album, which hits stores on Sept. 17. The trek is scheduled to kick off on Oct. 10 in Cincinnati, Ohio and will run through a Sept. 15 gig in Orlando, Fla.

Before that, BOH are slated to rock the DeLuna Fest on Sept. 22 in Pensacola, Fla., and the Global Festival on Sept. 29 in New York City. Following the headlining run, they meet up with Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson and John C. Reilly for the previously announced 2012 edition of the Railroad Revival Tour, which features rootsy rock and country music traveling by vintage train to a handful of U.S. cities.

Band of Horses also have dates lined up for a fall European jaunt that starts on Nov. 4 in Milan, Italy, plus several gigs in Australia as part of the 2013 Big Day Out traveling festival.
