Ben Folds Five to Reissue ‘Whatever and Ever Amen’ On Vinyl

As you go through all of the money Santa Claus brings you for Christmas (he brings money, right?), make sure you put some to the side for a very special release that will hit store shelves in the new year. Ben Folds Five have announced details for an official reissue of ‘Whatever and Ever Amen,’ set to drop on Jan. 27, 2015.

Remastered and pressed on 180-gram orange vinyl, this marks the first pressing of ’Whatever and Ever Amen’ since its original release in 1997; it will feature the original album cover.

So how can you get your hands on this record? It will be exclusively at the indie record shops that are part of the Department of Record Stores. You can find the list of stores here.

‘Whatever and Ever Amen’ is Ben Folds Five’s second studio album, and was released March 18, 1997. It has been certified Platinum in the U.S., Japan and Australia, and Gold in Canada. On the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, it peaked at No. 42.
