Best Coast Deliver Hazy Cover of Nirvana’s ‘Dumb’ for Split Single With Wavves
Wavves frontman Nathan Williams just launched a subscription service through his label Ghost Ramp, and its very first offering -- a split single featuring tracks from his own band and frequent collaborators Best Coast -- has arrived at participants’ doorsteps.
The single boasts Best Coast’s fuzzy cover of Nirvana’s In Utero track “Dumb” backed with Wavves' infectious original “Dreams of Grandeur.” One Ghost Ramp Monthly subscriber has ripped both cuts, and you can listen to them at the bottom of the page.
Wavves and Best Coast will join forces again when they embark on their second-ever Summer Is Forever tour. That kicks off on Feb. 11 in Austin, Texas, and runs through the beginning of March. See a complete list of stops right here.
In the upcoming months, Ghost Ramp Monthly subscribers will receive another split single featuring new songs from Wavves and Cloud Nothings followed by a copy of Sweet Valley’s (Williams’ band with his brother Joel) So Serene. The subscription service will also offer fans more 7- and 12-inches and varied merch.
