Despite the apparent falling-out between Blood Orange’s Dev Hynes and Solange Knowles — allegedly over production credits on Knowles’ breakout ‘True’ EP — the former is powering through with a brand-new song. Stream ‘West Drive (Profit Vocal Dub)’ below, a song Hynes says is “one of the roughly a million cuts that didn’t make it on to the album ‘Cupid Deluxe.’”

‘Cupid Deluxe’ is Hynes’ critically lauded sophomore album, which landed in November. Take a listen, and you’ll hear how ‘West Drive’ would’ve seamlessly fit with the album’s 11 tracks. The sultry R&B track is dripping ‘80s flavor, with a nearly two-minute intro and added vocals from Friends frontwoman Samantha Urbani.

Hynes has also added two tour dates, including one at New York City’s Webster Hall Hall on Feb. 6 and London’s Village Underground on Feb. 19.
