London-based Japanese psych-rock quartet Bo Ningen have just been announced as the opening act for seven of TV on the Radio upcoming concerts in May.

Bo Ningen's raucous, guitar-hurling stage show makes for a compelling counterpoint to TV on the Radio's considerably more contemplative approach. In addition to the newly announced gigs, Bo Ningen will headline four appearances of their own, including stops in Toronto and Atlanta.

The band's updated brand of psychedelia incorporates elements of punk, fuzz, noise and hardcore all packaged into tight, economical arrangements. Their latest album, III, is out now on Stolen Recordings and features an English-language guest appearance by Jehnny Beth of Savages; check it out below:
