Built to Spill Add 2012 Tour Dates

Built to Spill fans have had to learn to be patient over the last decade or so -- the band has only released three albums since 2001 -- but this is shaping up to be a very productive year, with a busy tour schedule and new music on the horizon.

The band, already committed to a summer tour, has announced that it's extending its run of dates into the fall, when they'll book new gigs around recording sessions for their next LP. The as-yet-untitled disc is reportedly due next year on longtime label Warner Bros. It'll be their follow-up to 'There Is No Enemy,' released in 2009.
