Following up on 2010's 'The Rainwater LP,' singer-songwriter Citizen Cope will return with his sixth album, 'One Lovely Day,' on July 17. Fittingly, the hard-touring Cope (a.k.a. Clarence Greenwood) is planning to embark on a series of headlining dates to support the new LP.

Cope's press release announcing the album describes 'One Lovely Day' as "Southern rural, big sky lonely, concrete urban, and painfully romantic" -- which might seem like a contradiction, but if you've listened to anything from the rest of the Citizen Cope catalog, you know he's just as likely to play the acoustic guitar as he is to work the turntables, and his sound incorporates elements of blues, folk, rock and hip-hop. (You can hear the title track here.)

Cope's music has been used in a long list of films and TV shows, including 'Entourage,' 'One Tree Hill,' and 'Sons of Anarchy.' As with 'The Rainwater LP,' 'One Lovely Day' will be released via his own label, RainWater Recordings. But his indie status isn't preventing him from putting together a serious run of tour dates. Below, you can take a look at the complete list of shows, which is scheduled to keep him on the road through late November.
