CMJ 2013 Announces New Round of Performers: Yuck, Tanlines + More Headed to NYC

The CMJ Music Marathon is right around the corner -- it runs Oct. 15 through 19 at countless venues across NYC -- and organizers have announced a new round of performers. The roster includes Yuck, Real Estate, Father John Misty, the Head & the Heart and Talib Kweli.

Also on hand at the annual event, which spotlights the best and brightest in new music and celebrates veteran acts, will be Hockey, Nachtmystium, Alberta Cross, Duologue, Staley, Riff Raff and Tanlines, who'll do a DJ set.

But wait! There's more. Hundreds of other artist swill be announced in the next few weeks leading up to the event. If you plan on attending CMJ, there is one credo to live by: You'll sleep when you're dead. There's simply so much to do during the festival that catching Zs will have to wait.
