Brett Morgen’s Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck will be released on DVD next month, and it will be accompanied by a soundtrack that's been labeled as a Cobain solo album comprised of rare audio the filmmaker discovered while searching through the late Nirvana frontman’s archives. At the beginning of the week, we learned the forthcoming album, Kurt Cobain -- Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings, will be issued in standard and deluxe editions in November. Now, a track list and the rumored cover art have emerged.

Take a look at the standard edition’s 13-song track list at the bottom of the page (via Amoeba). A thumbnail of the supposed album artwork, which can also be found below, comes courtesy of Alternative Nation.

Another 31-track "super deluxe" edition of The Home Recordings will encompass the standard soundtrack, plus more music from Morgen’s documentary. The album will be issued as a digital download and on CD on Nov. 13 -- the same day as the Montage of Heck DVD. A two-LP vinyl copy is slated for a Dec. 4 arrival. The previously announced “And I Love Her” / “Sappy” 7” is due out Nov. 20 (pre-order that at this location).

Morgen isn't the only one uncovering rare Cobain material as of late. A series of leaked recordings of an early Nirvana rehearsal have also surfaced. The 1987 sessions feature Aaron Burckhard on drums and find the band playing several previously unheard songs. Listen to those over at Alternative Nation.
